Pa., Del. and N.J. sue Trump’s FEMA over end of grant program that helps states prevent flooding
The funding would have helped reduce flooding in Lewes, Delaware, and Philly neighborhoods, as well as strengthened a dam in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
SOPHIA SCHMIDT / WHYY – New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania and more than a dozen other states are suing the Trump administration over its slashing of a grant program meant to help communities prepare for disasters such as flooding, storms and wildfires.
