The New Jersey Climate Change Resource Center prepared this background document to assist the New Jersey Legislature in understanding what types of infrastructure are most susceptible to storm and climate-related hazards and where investments would be most effective. The report focuses on climate resilient infrastructure investment that will improve the ability for social and ecological systems to absorb and adapt to shocks and stresses resulting from a changing climate, while better positioning New Jersey to respond in the future.
