NJ Transit trains (via NJ Transit’s NE Corridor Line) stop at the New Brunswick train station. To get to the Cook Student Center from the New Brunswick train station, visitors can take a Rutgers campus bus (see more below about Rutgers buses) or a taxicab or ride-hailing service (it is about 2.1 miles from the train station to the Cook Student Center).
Rutgers Free Campus Bus Service
Visitors are welcome to use the free Rutgers campus bus system. To get to Cook Student Center from the New Brunswick Train station via Rutgers New Brunswick campus bus system, take the Summer 2 Bus from the College Avenue Campus to the “Biel Road” bus stop. Guests can board the Summer 2 bus at “The Yard.” The map below shows the walking route between the New Brunswick Train Station and The Yard-Scott Hall Bus Stop on College Avenue. For the return trip, visitors should take the Summer 1 bus back to The Yard. Real-time bus arrival information can be found at Rutgers TransLoc.
