The State of Massachusetts is the first state in the country that has integrated its Statewide Climate Change Adaptation Plan with its statewide Hazard Mitigation Plan. Join Mia Mansfield, Director of Climate Adaptation and Resilience, MA Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs; Kara Runsten, MVP Program Manager, MA Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs; and Laurie Connors, Planner, Town of Millbury, MA to learn more about this innovative integrated state and local climate resilience and hazard mitigation planning program that also helps communities implement priority actions identified through the planning process.

Attendees are eligible for 1 Continuing Education Credit from the Association of State Floodplain Managers and 1.5 Certification Maintenance Credits from the American Institute of Certified Planners.
