CLIMATE ACADEMY: State Of the Climate, New Jersey 2021
A warming climate has led to increased temperature extremes, sea levels, and rainfall intensity in New Jersey. These changes are projected to continue and will present unique challenges for human health, ecosystems, agricultural production, and more.
Dr. James Shope, applied climatologist with the Rutgers New Jersey Climate Change Resource Center, joined by Dr. Anthony Broccoli, co-director of the Rutgers Climate Institute, and Dr. David Robinson, the New Jersey State Climatologist, will highlight the latest climate information from across the climate change research field for New Jersey.
