Federal judge strikes down Trump ban on offshore wind development
JOANNA GAGIS and MICHAEL SOL WARREN / NJ SPOTLIGHT NEWS – Offshore wind advocates in New Jersey have new reason for optimism, after a federal judge struck down a Trump administration moratorium on wind development.
U.S. District Court Judge Patti Saris, sitting in Massachusetts, ruled on Monday that President Donald Trump’s executive order to cancel all wind projects on federal land and water was “arbitrary and capricious… and violated federal law” …
