SUMMER CLIMATE ACADEMY: Addressing Managed Retreat
The transition of people and vulnerable infrastructure away from the coast is a difficult decision and process. To support decision-making for local and state officials around managed retreat and climate adaptation, the Georgetown Climate Center (GCC) has created a new toolkit, which includes legal and policy tools, best and emerging practices, and case studies. At this event, Katie Spidalieri, the Senior Associate for Adaptation at the GCC, joins the NJ Climate Change Resource Center to discuss this new toolkit and how it can be utilized here in NJ.
